Patrick Withrow received his DPT degree from Rosalind Franklin University in 2008 and joined the faculty there in 2013 as the Director of Clinical Education. He is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults through the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy. His teaching and research interests include geriatric and acute care physical therapy, ethical practice, and clinical education. Dr. Withrow is a Credentialed Clinical Trainer through the APTA’s Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program. He is a past chair of the IPTA Ethics Committee and has served as a Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates. He currently serves as Chapter Vice President as well as President of the Illinois Physical Therapy Foundation. He has published in the peer-reviewed journal Physiotherapy Theory and Practice, and has presented at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting and the IPTA Revitalize conference.
