Christine Schauerte PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist as of 2011 and has completed an orthopedic manual therapy fellowship in 2015. She received additional orthopedic specialization training at the University of Otago in New Zealand where she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy in 2013. She is a long time employee of Rush University Medical Center and has over 20 years of experience in PT and over 15 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics. She formerly served as the Outpatient Supervisor, allowing her to understand departmental needs and assist the Program Director in coordinating the Residency’s goals to meet the needs and demands of the overall Rush Outpatient Department as managed by the Outpatient Manager and Supervisor. From 2014 to 2018, she successfully coordinated Rush University Medical Center’s participation as a Clinical Site for the University of Illinois Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship program, as well as served as a mentor in the program from 2015 to 2018. She has financial and operational management experience in her past as the Rush Outpatient Supervisor, running a private outpatient clinic, and starting and operating her own physical therapy business. In 2019, she became part-time clinical adjunct faculty at Northwestern University DPT program in musculoskeletal coursework, serving as a lab assistant.
