Deborah K. Anderson, PT, EdD, MS, is the Program Director and a Professor at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Dr. Anderson received her entry-level Bachelor of Science degree and a post-professional Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/The Chicago Medical School. Dr. Anderson earned a Doctor of Education degree in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Anderson has 35 years of clinical and managerial experience as a physical therapist and is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Pediatric Clinical Specialist. Dr. Anderson’s research interests include developmental coordination disorder, pediatric physical therapy didactic and clinical education, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Dr. Anderson is on the Board of Gigi’s Playhouse and continues to be active in the pediatric physical therapy community.
