Dr. Denise Kilway is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner working at the Medical College of Wisconsin/Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in the Department Of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition. She has been working with NEW Kids Program for the last 16 years in addition to children with GI issues. She is a clinical preceptor for PNP, FNP and DNP students from local Universities. Prior to GI she spent over a decade in Pediatric Primary Care. Denise Graduated from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana with a BS in Nursing, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC with her MS in Parent-Child Nursing, her PNP Post Graduate Certificate at Emory University, Atlanta, GA and Her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. She lives in Pewaukee, WI with her husband, 2 teenage sons and her Golden Retriever Dakota. Her most recent favorite family vacation is white water rafting down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon with 23 family members. A unique fact about Denise is that she played Trombone in the Notre Dame Marching Band in College.
