Dr. Betsy Campione, PT, DPT, CLT-LANA is an Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Midwestern University. She has over 15 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist working with patients during and after their cancer journey and patients who are living with lymphedema. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2003. She achieved her lymphedema certification from the Norton School of Lymphatic Studies in 2005 and Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) in 2009. In addition, she is Board Certified Specialist in Oncologic Physical Therapy. Dr. Campione currently serves on the Board of Directors for LANA, the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy and The Center for Food Equity in Medicine. Dr. Campione’s clinical and research interests include rehabilitation of patients with breast cancer, survivorship issues, lymphedema, rehabilitation after surgical management of lymphedema, and implementation science.
