Lee Ann Hulteen received her physical therapy degree in 1991 from The Chicago Medical School/University of Health Sciences (now known as Rosalind Franklin University). She practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting until moving to New Zealand in 1996. While in New Zealand, she practiced in a variety of settings from acute care, cardio pulmonary and home health to owning her own small private practice. She became interested in the McKenzie method of treating low back pain while overseas and upon her return to the US in 2000, she became a certified McKenzie practitioner. In 2006 she joined Girling Home Health as their rehab director and eventually brought her passion for home healthcare to Athletico in 2014. She is currently the Manager of Home Health Staffing Services for Athletico. She recently received her FSOAE (Functional Standards for Optimal Aging Expert) certification in November of 2019.
