Matt Gauthier is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and ABPTS Sports Certified Specialist with 9
years of clinical experience. Dr. Gauthier received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University, his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Indiana University and is currently earning his PhD from Rush University. He practices in Chicago, IL where he specializes in the treatment of the athletic population ranging from youth athletes to professional and Olympic athletes. In addition to his work in the clinic, he is the manager of Athletico’s Overhead Athlete Program, faculty for coursework in Evidence in Motion’s Sports Physical Therapy Residency, and adjunct faculty for Baylor University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. His research interests include return-to-sport testing of the upper extremity, biomechanics of the overhead athlete, and upper extremity physical performance tests.
