Ms. Jensen is owner and co-founder of IMPACT Physical Therapy, a network of 7 physical therapy clinics focused on providing best in class care in the Chicagoland area. She has been a practicing physical therapist for twenty-one years. Ms. Jensen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Michigan State University in 1994 and her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in 1999. She received her Doctorate of Science from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2010.
Ms. Jensen is a certified orthopedic manual therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Additionally, she is certified in both Astym and dry needling techniques. Ms. Jensen’s former positions included serving as the Chief Clinical Officer at Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers in which much of her work focused on developing and teaching best practices, maximizing patient outcomes and expanding research opportunities and affiliations with institutions. She also served as the Illinois Physical Therapy Association’s Vice President and President of the Illinois Physical Therapy Foundation from 2016-2020. In addition to these clinical and professional accomplishments, Ms. Jensen currently serves as adjunct faculty in the physical therapy department at Midwestern University, instructing doctoral physical therapy students in clinical gross anatomy, kinesiology, manual therapy and orthopedic evaluation and treatment.
